Detroit Rockers, The Howling Diablos, Find Worldwide Fame In Unlikely Places...
July 17th, 2006

After a decade of maintaining a strong fanbase, music in regular local radio rotation, a legendary stint at a Berkley watering hole, a slew of sold-out shows and several irons in the national fires, Detroit-based band The Howling Diablos may be finally finding thier fame....in Hollywood ??!

Jay Chandrasekhar, one of the founding members of the 5 man comedic group, Broken Lizard who are known best for thier movies Club Dread and Super Troopers, is regularly seen in photos and on-set wearing a Howling Diablos tee shirt that is unquestionably the bands'.

Last year Jay was photographed talking to Jessica Simpson, who appeared in his directorial debut with the remake of Dukes Of Hazzard, sporting his favorite Diablos tee. (* see photo attached)

Now, with the highly anticipated release of Broken Lizards' latest cult movie, Beerfest, once again The Howling Diablos are in the mix.

In the spirit of fun and celebration, The Howling Diablos are throwing a party at the Magic Bag Theater in Ferndale on Saturday, July 22nd, and giving away this favored tee to the first 25 people in the door. Special guests are Bazooka Jones and The Midnight Thud.
